Post-Enrollment Steps

Because we’re invested in the growth of your child, our service doesn’t stop at the point of enrollment. The following are post-enrollment steps to ensure your child is thriving.

Step 1: Conduct Standard Assessment

Within the first two weeks of your child starting at CFC Learning Centers, we’ll lead them through an observation & academic assessment. This enables us to understand more about your child and their current status in a variety of factors, such as social & emotional development, fine & gross motor skills, language and basic knowledge assessments. If your child has an IEP and/or disability please let us know at the time of enrollment so that your child can get the help that your child may need.

Step 2: Parent Conference Follow-Up

Within the first 30 days, we’ll invite you in for a conference to go over your child’s observation and assessments. It’s a time for us to share the evaluation and discuss any specific child needs. As always, we also encourage you to share any questions or concerns you may have.

Step 3: Home Visit

We believe in providing comprehensive services that meet the needs of the child, family and community as a whole. CFC emphasizes that the role of the parent is the child’s first and most important relationship. Getting to know our students and families through our home visit helps us get to know the families’ culture, values, customs, food and roles in society. With our home visit, we acknowledge the importance these factors play in early childhood development.
